Ky Kugler, Ed.D, ATC
Biography:
Ky attended New Mexico State University where he obtained all three (3) of his degrees. 1978 Ky graduated with his BS in Biology, Pre-Med. Immediately after Ky obtained his Masters of Art’s degree in Educational Management & Development. After a quick 15 year hiatus he returned to obtain his Doctor Education Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and finished that in 1994.
Ky began his athletic training career as a Graduate Assistant at New Mexico State University. After his 2 year stint at NMSU he worked at a local high school for 5 years. Ky transitioned to education as the Assistant Program Director at NMSU and in 1986 he moved to California at Cal State Fullerton as an Assistant AT and Instructor. 1989 Ky accepted a position as Head Athletic Trainer at Cal Poly Pomona and transitioned to to Associate Athletic Director and Interim Athletic Director from 1998 to 2001. Ky then moved to Chapman University where he was a Professor, Clinical Education Coordinator and eventually Associate Dean for Undergraduate Student Affairs.
Ky recently retired in the summer of 2021 and now enjoys the the retired life with his wife and 2 children.
