  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

    The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee provides an equity, diversity and inclusion lens through which the CATA supports its members, patients and community.

  • Governmental Affairs

    The Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) works to advance the values of the athletic training profession and the CATA through legislative efforts.

  • Political Action

    The California Athletic Trainers' Association Political Action Committee (PAC) provides campaign contributions to approved governmental candidates on the behalf of the CATA that share the philosophical and professional goals of our organization.

  • Secondary School

    The CATA Secondary Schools Committee serves to establish a direct representation between Certified Athletic Trainers in the Secondary School Setting and the Association to recognize the concerns and responsibilities associated with the Secondary School Setting.

  • Revenue

    The Revenue committee raises funds for the CATA through vendor engagement at CATA’s annual meeting, acquiring website sponsor placement and other revenue-generating activities.

  • Annual Symposium

    The Annual Symposium committee dedicates its time to provide high-quality symposium content for the CATA members elevating the profession through education of cutting edge techniques and information.

  • Public Relations

    The Public Relations committee is the “face” of the CATA. The PR committee helps put together content to educate the general public about Athletic Training and updates membership and stakeholders about current happenings of the states athletic training world.
