As Evidence-Based Practice continues to grow within our profession, the leadership of the CATA is committed to supporting conference proposals that expand the body of knowledge and clinical practice of Athletic Trainers.  The committee encourages proposals for EBP content. Requirements for an EBP proposal be can found at: http://www.bocatc.org/approved-providers/ebp > select the application requirements tab. 

Program faculty will be selected based upon, but not limited to, the following criteria; knowledge of subject matter, experience and teaching ability, and the ability to meet the educational needs of Athletic Trainers. 

Symposium objectives

  1. Provide attendees with a high level of evidence based knowledge
  2. Enhance clinical and professional knowledge to facilitate in the advancement of each attendee’s current practice
  3. Provide networking and professional development opportunities for Certified Athletic Trainers and Athletic Training Students

Possible presentation formats (no submission fees).
