Attend the 3rd Annual CATA State Symposium February 9 & 10, 2013!

Symposium

The 3rd Annual CATA State Symposium will be held on February 9 – 10, 2013 at the University of La Verne Ludwick Conference Center.

This convenient, cost-effective educational program will offer at least 11 – 12 CEUs for the 1 ½ day event.

This year’s symposium will include a full day on Saturday and ½ day on Sunday.  Board of Certification Executive Director, Denise Fandel will give a keynote presentation Saturday afternoon on “How to Approach the New CEU Reporting System”. The CATA will also host a social at the nearby Sheraton Fairplex after the Saturday sessions are completed (just 2 or 3 minutes away from the University of La Verne.)

Registration fees for certified athletic trainers for both days is only $125 and includes a registration gift, lunch and the CATA Social.

Students

A special athletic training student program on professional development will be offered to AT students for only $50 for Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the La Fetra Auditorium on the ULV campus.  We encourage all athletic training students to participate in the entire symposium, both Saturday and Sunday, for only $75.  The additional $25 is simply to cover your lunch cost for the Saturday educational program. Registration

The deadline for early registration rates is Thursday February 7th. Mail in forms must be received by that time and online registration will be cut off. On-site registration will still be available for an additional fee.

“Hit the Hill and Hit the Golf Course”  Plan on visiting the State Capitol with the CATA Governmental Affairs Committee in the morning, then golf  in the afternoon at the FWATA Scholarship Golf Tournament.
