The CATA Managing Board would like to solicit your nominations for individuals deserving of being recognized for the CATA State Recognition or CATA Special Service Awards (see descriptions below). Nominations and supporting paperwork (see below) can be submitted until March 15th to:

CATA State Recognition Award

The purpose of this award is to recognize a Certified Athletic Trainer or a non-member, i.e. physician, educator, mentor, supporter, etc., who have and/or are making a significant contribution of their time and energy to the state-wide membership of the CATA. To be eligible for nomination a member or non-member’s contribution should encompass betterment of the profession of Athletic Training throughout the state of California.

Nomination:

• Submittal of name to the CATA Professional Education and Recognition Committee from any CATA member in good standing.
• Appropriate supporting documentation, i.e. letter/s of recommendation, resume, programs, etc. that speak to and demonstrate the contributions that benefits the membership/association.

CATA Special Service Award

Same as Special Recognition Award but:
Significant contribution of their time and energy encompass betterment of the profession of Athletic Training within the nominee’s local area or CATA region of California.

Nomination:

• Submittal of name to the CATA Professional Education and Recognition Committee from any CATA member in good standing.
• Appropriate supporting documentation, i.e. letter/s of recommendation, resume, programs, etc. that speak to and demonstrate the contributions that benefits the membership/association

• FWATA Most Distinguished
• FWATA Special Recognition Award
• FWATA State Special Service
